Open Question: 2nd marriages - with kids from prior - How much time did you spend together with your spouse before marriage?
I am feeling a little stingy… I need advice from married couples who have been here…

7 months dating -n we are both 40… I enjoy our time together.. we talk this is forver etc.. but he has this optional vendor trip coming up and he is taking it… I do not want him to go (but t have not told him this out of appearing too clingy or needy) but we talked early on and he agreed sep vacations was not cool.. we give each other space.. and this trip coming up is one day of meetings and basically socializing and skiing the rest of the time.. I was married to a corp exec so I get these things are part of some businesses.. but this is not even my bf’s companys trip, its a vendor trip… and its on a weekend we would normally be together..

Am I whacked or what?

Here is breakdown of our time together… is wanting more at this point too much? Is expecting we at least value what we have and not sway from it if we can help it something only crazy gf’s concern themselves with…. we are not teens here.. but I want a future husband, I don’t want to be a weekend gf.. I am a mom…
Breakdown is this..

10 nights alone (4 Wednesdays and every other weekend)

4 nights together but not alone (Tuesdays) my kids are home

14 nights not together at all (Mondays – his freetime/ ‘errands’ night, Thursdays night is for his kids… and 3 nights every other weekend with his kids)

We are not even together half the month with or without kids — and we are actually only ‘alone’ 1/3 of any given month. He has over holidays brought his kids here one night on weekends and we do usually get the kids together one or two Sundays a month…

But actual ALONE time is 10 nights… So, if he goes out of town. take 3 extra nights off that time for this optional weekend away and we get, 7 nights out of the month alone… this is not screaming to me ‘this man is into you’…. And I need that and want it. Am I expecting too much?

Open Question: BF going away for work weekend ’ski trip’.. i AM FEELING ANNOYED.?
We are both 40 - not kids - I was married prior as he was… he traveled a lot for woerk when we first met and it drove me nuts.. but it was weekdays, I had my kids home (not with their dad) and so it really did not upset me too much, until he mentioned this woman or that woman and he said he did NOT mention having a girlfriend.. he also has this friend who is a scumbag cheater who cheats everytime he goes out of town or his gf goes out of town. I have yet to meet the gf, but I met the scumbag… MY bf says he does not let scumbag influence him - but my bf never tells scumbag its wrong either. Now, scumbag is not su[posed to be at this upcoming weekend away,. but the last time bf went out of town, he basically did not return my calls for 2 days… anyhow that was early on.. we have a totally different relationship - he was scared then, now knows what he wants etc… however. upciming weekend trip. he sent me agenda… it looks like meetings friday then dinner then skiing all weekend. Not meetings… also, this is optional, he does not have to go, its one of his vendors trips, not even his company…

I am all about giving him freedoms. we already spend two evenings a week apart… no problem. I do NOT think he would cheat… but you never know I could not contro; that anyhow, if a guyy cheats, he wil cheat…

So… in saying all this, I fee;l like a psycho possessive gf for being upset that he is choosing to go away for a weekend when neither of us have our kids and we could be together instead…

So, I mentioned maybe I will do a girls weekend away while hes gone - he does not seem thrilled with that idea.. and early on we both agreed that separate vacations was not something we thought was a good idea…. so, this meeting ski weekend he does not consider a vacation.. but you know, I was married to a copr exec prior and I attended his weekend work functions — and he never went out of town for a weekend work thing witbhout me.. he either brought me or did not go..

granted, me and bf are not married// but I doubt I ever could marry someone who selects a weekend trip on our time. If this was mandatory, or even his companyy I would be ok with it - had we not agreed early on sep vacations was too risky, I would not have issue// but nto be honest I DO have an issue with this./

I talk to him tonight about it./ How do I express how I feel without sounding too clingy or needy… and is a girls weekend away in place of sitting around worrying a good option or not?

Help?
PS — I am thinking about ending this relationship over this… he is a great guy otherwise.. but I honestly do not know if I want to be with someone who opts for a weekend away from me… Is this creepy to feel like this? I want to be the goofy couple joined at the hip and only apart when at work or running errands. etc. what is wrong with that?

Open Question: Hey I am 19 and my girl is 18… she is pregnant..?
When we first heard about this, we both decided straight away for abortion… But the more I think about it, and about when i’m like 25+ I know i will regret making this decision… i’ve tried telling my girlfriend this, and she got really upset… a little to know about my girl, she is muslim (i am christian, but i don’t really follow religion)…. same with my girlfriend, but her parents are religious… and she is very scared that they will disown her…. I really do not know what to do… I am an electrical engineer in college FULL - TIME… I do not have a job @ college, I have one on the vacations when I am home. what do I do? is it possible to continue with my education, and support a baby? Financially and emotionally.
