Resolved Question: two-storey duplex or house? what would you buy?
I live in a duplex (upstairs) with my two kids. My parents own it. They want to sell it to me for a very good price. Its about 100 years old and located downtown, by the riverfront and near university and us border. Its never been really hard to rent bc of the location but we have had some problems in the past with several rentors (nothing major). Im torn whether i should i buy a small house for me and my two kids and have privacy or buy this place and continue living here. I know its an investment but i dont know what to do b/c the bedrooms are small and the closet space is limited. Should i just buy a home and forget about this place or buy this place as a future investment.
Anyone ever do this or make this kind of decision? Whats best to do?
Resolved Question: What should I do for my boyfriend’s 19th birthday?
My 17th birthday was today [actually, yesterday, because it's after midnight...], and my boyfriend went all out. He took me to a really nice restaurant [we live near St. Louis, and he took me to the restaurant at the top of the Millennium Hotel that rotates so you can see the city and riverfront], and he gave me a promise ring, which is the greatest present I could have ever hoped for. His birthday is September 1st, and he’ll be turning 19. I feel like I should do something really nice for him, to thank him for all the amazing things he’s done for me. I’m thinking of taking him out to dinner somewhere nice and then having a surprise party when we get back to his house. I have no clue what I’m getting him as a gift. Any suggestions [either for what we should do and/or what I should get for him] would be awesome! Thanks!
Please don’t suggest stupid things, like “have sex with him!” and REALLY don’t suggest stupid things like “have sex with him and then tell him you’re pregnant!” First of all, that’s just a stupid idea. And second of all, how do you know if I’m a virgin or not? If I was, nothing would convince me to change that, and if I wasn’t, I don’t need someone telling me when to have sex with him. I can decide that for myself.

I guess I’ll just come out and say it… yes, I’ve had sex with him before, and I don’t need suggestions on how to have sex with him. I just want to do something sweet for him that’s completely unexpected. Thank you.
Wow. I think I just mentioned NOT TO TELL ME TO DO ANYTHING SEXUAL WITH HIM. I want ideas for something to do with him in public. Can you people get any more ignorant?
