Voting Question: I need made up names for a rich neighborhood in my story?
I’m thinking of names for a rich, gated neighborhood in my story and I can only come up with this “Queensway Riverfront”. Can anyone help me with any names, because the houses are supposed to be near the river.
Resolved Question: Inexpensive House Rentals?
This past summer, for me and my family, was really dull, so we’re looking for a lakefront, or riverfront house to rent, either for a weekend or a full week next summer. We live in northern Virginia, so something in close proximity, in Virginia, Maryland, or close areas in Pennsylvania or New York state, would be great!
I’ve been looking on some websites, but I can’t find anything nice under $1,000 a week, or under $250 a night. If anybody knows a website, or good, inexpensive areas to look up, please let me know!
I’m really trying to find either a great deal, or something about $600-800 for a week that’s on a lake, or right near a swim-able river.

Voting Question: is 5% below the list price bad for seller?
My house has been for sale for 2 months, I live in the historic district in a small midwestern town in ohio. First time seller. The list price is 249,900, and it’s a 3 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath on the riverfront. I have an offer for 235,000 and am tempted to take it, but my family thinks it’s a great deal for the buyer, and a bad deal for me. The offer started out much lower and I told the people through my realtor that I’m not going below 235,000, and expected them to walk. The market is not great around here but picking up a little. Is selling your house for 5-6% below the list price a really horrible deal for me? I thought many people are having to sell their house for 10% or more below the list price?
Should have but arena downtown or near 30th St station. And built ballpark by riverfront. Both with housing and offices.
